A social-media addict

     

      I’m a college student who every day always use social media. Updating statues in twitter or facebook become my habit. It feels like my fingers are machine and already set up to update status in social networks every time.  

As a college student, I got many benefits from social media. Social media helps me connect to new million people around the world and see their photos. Moreover I can share many things with other people.

     No matter wherever and whenever, I always connect in social networks to update status. Even in lunch time, I don’t care with everything around me include my friends because I’m only give much attention for my iphone. All of my friends get angry with me because I don’t not only  listen to them but also give opinion to them.    

Day by day I realize that my friends are away from me but I still don’t care about it.

A few months later, my lecture gave a task group which each group have to find member itself. I didn’t have a group and no one of my friends to encourage me to the group.  I was upset.

From that situation I knew that I must change.

   The first thing I should do is if I met my friends at campus in the morning, I should have greeted them. I do it consistently.

    The second thing is reduce activity in social networks for five minutes when I’m alone. But when my friends are around me, I tried to not open it except in a danger situation.

    The third is my friends and I do some activities together after class so I can join them again.

  

From those things above that I did it, my social life is getting better and I can play with all of my friends again.  

The conclusion is I learn more about dynamic social which human can’t live alone. There are true friends that more precious than just social networks. In the future, I will connect in social network based on as needed.

     Cloud computing is becoming known almost in every media. So, what is cloud computing?
Some sources have definition about cloud computing as follows.

Wikipedia : The definition of cloud computing is internet-based computing while using many servers in the same time to serve resource, software and data in computer or another device when is needed. It is as same as grid.

Forester said that cloud computing is IT potency standard like software, application platform or infrastructure which are provided by internet technology while using it. Using cloud computing as if we are shopping in market shop and we only pay what we buy.

Well, cloud computing can access in everywhere you are as long as you have connection to the internet. Here are some advantages from cloud computing especially in business Saving the cost initial investment to buy resource Saving much time so that the company can focus about profit and grows fast Easier for company and management to operate and control because all system in one cloud. Saving operational cost for the company.

The weakness of cloud computing :

Computer will run slowly or we can’t use it when it has internet problems or overload. The company doesn’t have direct access to the resource. Moreover, all of it depends on cloud computing service provider because if it broken or doesn’t have backup service, the company will get lose.

The conclusion is cloud computing is combine between computer technology utilization and business development internet-based. But we should be aware while using it especially in security of data because there is no guarantee that data we put into will be save from hackers.
